Speaker Information:
Lauran CutlerRisk Control Consulting Director at CNA, provides consulting services for Aging Services, Hospitals, Life Sciences and Allied Healthcare Provider insureds in the United States and Canada. She works directly with insureds on resident and patient safety, and develops publications, tools and other resources to help our insureds manage risk. Lauran brings to her role an extensive clinical nursing background, which includes experience in emergency room, burn unit, open heart and surgical intensive care nursing and administration.


She served as the administrator for nine physician neurology group practice and was the chief operating officer for a large outpatient medical/surgical clinic. She was the Assistant Vice President of Risk Management and Insurance Services at Winthrop University Hospital.


Lauran received her nursing degree from Eastern Kentucky University. She is a Six Sigma Green Belt, TeamSTEPPS™ Master Trainer, and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM).
