If you are planning to move to another Canadian jurisdiction or another country, you will be required to register in the new jurisdiction to be eligible to work as a licensed practical nurse.
Verification of your registration status with CLPNPEI may be required. Check with the LPN regulatory authority in the new jurisdiction for information on the procedures and documents you will need for registration.
Make your request for a verification of your CLPNPEI registration to be sent to another regulatory authority by emailing the Registrar at kjay@clpnpei.ca.
There is a $75 fee for having a Verification of Registration Form completed and sent to another regulatory authority. Once the Registrar confirms receipt of your request, an invoice will be added to the Member Portal.
The verification will be sent within 1-2 days of your payment being processed.
